Criminal's Brains Exposed After Shootout With Police
An exchange of fire between criminals and military police ended with one bandit dead and at least one wounded on the banks of the BR-343 highway, in Vila da Paz, in the south of Teresina, Piauí state, Brazil.

According to the Military Police, five hooded criminals were driving around the region in a red car, carrying out robberies, when the vehicle was spotted by a team from the Special Interior Policing Battalion (BEPI).

From that moment on, there was a chase and then an exchange of gunfire, with the suspects abandoning their car near the bus station. Three of the men managed to flee the scene.

Two of the criminals were shot. One was killed instantly, whilst the other was taken to the Teresina Emergency Hospital.
