Criminal Shoots and Kills His Other Criminal Friend at Hospital

India, A history-sheeter (is an Indian police term for a criminal with a long record of serious crimes) was allegedly shot dead by his friend inside a hospital in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind on Tuesday midnight.

Vimlesh Upadhyaya aka Daua (28) was shot dead by Dharmendra Bhadoria near the maternity ward of the district hospital, Bhind superintendent of police Vineet Khanna said.

The problem began after Vimlesh Upadhyaya, Dharmendra Bhadoria and Sanjeev Bhadoria were drinking liquor on Tuesday night and they returned home. Later that night Vimlesh and Sanjeev started a heated argument on the cell phone over some minor issues.

After this, Sanjeev and Dharmendra got to the house of Vimlesh on a motorbike and matters turned ugly. Vimlesh shot at Sanjeev and injured him.

Sanjeev, who suffered a bullet wound to his chest was rushed to the district hospital by the 2 friends.

After reaching hospital, Dharmendra suddenly turned violent by pulling out a gun and firing at Vimlesh, wounding him.

Vimlesh who ran inside for cover closed the doors but got fatally shot. When he tried to shoot again the rifle malfunctioned but seconds later he successfully fired the gun again before fleeing the scene.

Vimlesh, Sanjeev and Dharmendra are hardened criminals and their names are well-known by the police.

According to police, Vimlesh had been externed from the district for his anti-social and criminal activities in 2014 while Sanjeev had been a detainee under National Security Act (NSA) in the past.

Dharmendra has a criminal record also, the SP said adding a hunt has been launched to arrest him.

"I was going for check-up with a patient when we heard gun shots. Everybody was running helter-skelter," said Rama, a hospital staff.
