Looks like the brain, but dissected by someone who thought it was a steak. I like how they plopped the dura right on top then shut it.

Looks like post autopsy only because of surgical precision accessing the brain. Why the brain is cut like cube steak I have no idea. I’ve only watched 2 autopsies but never saw the condition of the brain after it was weighed and inspected.

the brain is covered in a membrane and if this is removed the brain turns to mush .. only know this cos i went to a dissection with some friends a couple weeks ago and we got to dig about in a pig skull

I dunno what the context of the video is, but looks like an autopsy has already been performed, (stiches, skull, etc already cut), and during an autopsy they slice up the brain looking for abnormalities and diseases. When they're done slicing and dicing, they gather all the parts and stuff them back into the cavity for burial or whatever the family wants to do with the body.
