Crane operator should have lowered the load to a couple feet off the ground in order to prevent a small failure from turning into Catastrophic failure. kind of like what already happened  |

A few days ago I was waiting in line of traffic for the traffic lights ahead to change. I noticed that about 100 feet or so directly above us was the huge concrete counterweight of a crane  I must admit I felt a teensy bit concerned - but reallly didn't dwell too much on it. Had I seen this video beforehand I probably might have suffered a panic attack |
