I often wonder in the Indian situations whether people are reluctant to help because their caste system determines who may and may not touch dead people. Not the sort of thing I can ask my Indian students.....anyone here have insight?
I witnessed a motocyclist get knocked off his bike by a London bus once, and I saw that his neck bent back dangerously when he was hit. He was wearing a helmet, and it took all my effort to prevent people messing with him until paramedics arrived.

BIOMARKER, after you watch enough videos here from India you begin to realize that the caste system has nothing to do with people helping. Most videos shot in India have crowded streets full of people watching... no one ever does anything & when they do it is a time for internet celebration; because someone did help. No one helps... no one ever helps.
