An identical scenario played out near where i live (surprisingly not in India). They left their child behind in a car nearby.

I'm sure they did this because their families wouldn't let them marry each other or something stupid like that. A total dramatic statement they intentionally left for everyone to ponder.  |

Doesn't it look strange that they were laying like that, supposedly committing suicide and there's an audience? There were people already there watching the show. Seems to me anyway, that it wasn't a suicide but a punishment for something.
