The screams were coming from the burning car, which is also stated in the translated news report. There are at least 2 other videos like this on here (also from Russia), were trapped, burning people are screaming for minutes until they finally died.

The sound of that poor woman's agonized screaming is chilling. The guy with the bottle of water just didn't know what else to do other than what he did. I know it looked like a poor attempt but, as someone else on here commented, "at least he tried". I never wan't to hear a scream like that again.
