Couple on Bike Being Victims of Hitmen Attack
Peru, Yesterday a couple was traveling on a motorcycle when they were intercepted by gunmen in a black Toyota Yaris. The attackers fired over 20 to 30 shots at them and both victims died at the scene. The woman was identified as Olenka M. C.G. (27) being the the partner of Helkin J.T, also 27, the male victim. While she was not the primary target according to police theories, she was killed alongside him during the ambush. Helkin was the primary target of the attack as police identified him as a member of the local criminal organization Los Patecos. He had a significant criminal record, incl. a 2016 arrest for a double homicide. He had previously served time in prison. During the initial police response at the crime scene, officers arrested a man who was observing the bodies. He was identified as another alleged member of Los Patecos with an active warrant for his arrest.  Police consider the case as a settling of accounts between rival criminal gangs in the region. |

Dude was arrested for a double homicide and isn’t in prison!?!   He’s serving time though. He’ll never get out of purgatory now. |
