The Guanacaste community is shocked by a tragic massacre that occurred in Garza de Playa Nosara, where a father, son, and cousin lost their lives in a violent shooting attack. According to reports from the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ), the deceased were identified as R. D. V, 43 years old (father), J. D. A, 21 years old (son) and a minor (cousin). In addition, the existence of a fourth victim is reported, whose data has not yet been officially confirmed. The motive for this tragic event is still unclear and the authorities are carrying out an exhaustive investigation to clarify the facts. According to the first reports, the victims were in a vehicle that was transporting pots, apparently destined to be sold in the area. However, it is unknown if this fact is related to the reason for the attack or if there are other circumstances that led to this massacre. The victims had reportedly been shot multiple times with a 9mm-caliber weapon. |
