A unidentified man in his 40s was found dead in a restaurant parking lot Sunday, Tucson Police said.

The body was found at the eegee's on Stone Avenue and East Drachman Street.

There were signs of trauma and the body was taken to Pima County coroner's office for an autopsy.

It's unknown if the injuries were the result of an assault, or if they were accidental.

The restaurant was closed at the time of the incident, around 1 p.m.
