Corn Vendor Fatally Struck by Loose Tractor-Trailer Wheel
Pasay, Philippines A 54-year-old corn vendor was fatally struck from behind by a loose tractor-trailer wheel. He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital after sustaining severe injuries to the head and body. According to the investigation, the truck was traveling southbound when one of its front wheels accidentally came off. The wheel flew off and hit the vendor, who was pushing his corn cart along the side of the road. The truck driver has been taken into custody. |

That looks like a rear wheel (drive axle) to me - dual tires.

Think he saved the life of that guy all wearing black. Good to see witnesses went on with their lifes as obviously they had to go some places.

Now THAT would’ve hurt, but the vendor probably never knew what flattened him. That wheel kept a rollin’ for quite some distance before it finally stopped. Amazing there weren’t more casualties. |
