It's funny really, US cops are trained to shoot to stop runaway perps. In South Africa the cops are being charged with murder for doing the exact same thing. That should reveal something to us.

Am I hearing this right? An unarmed man was shot and killed, who just previously shot many shots at police after an attempted robbery.

this was actually justified...once an escaping criminal is headed for a car door that just opened, and if they were to get in, that would be like picking up a deadly weapon...because he was putting not only cops lives in danger, but the guy in the car, AND all the potential people that could get injured while the dude was escaping...
