On August 28, 2022, in Del Paso Heights, Sacramento, California police shot and killed a woman on the 2500 block of Del Paso Boulevard.

Body cam videos show the woman running from officers with what police say is a knife in her hand.

Police said one officer is seen in the videos at the opposite end of an alley attempting to stop the woman with a knife from fleeing. Upon reaching her, he was stabbed by the woman.

The officer ordered the suspect to stop twice. The suspect charged the officer, abruptly pulled out a knife, and stabbed him, causing a serious injury and the immediate use of a tourniquet.

As the suspect stabbed the officer, he pushed her to the ground. Then, two officers are then seen in the bodycam video shooting the suspect multiple times in the front and the back after she attempted to get back on her feet.

The woman died of her injuries at the scene. The officer who was stabbed required surgery and is expected to fully recover.

The agent was stabbed pretty hard because the the woman’s momentum i think. The loss of life is always bad, especially if the women only had some drugs or small crime. But once you proceed towards an agent with a stab, without caution the agent will grab, his firearm: also referred to as a gun. He will pull the trigger until the danger is gone, after which most often the criminal is done. As for a dead stabbed agent will cry: no one.

This is what happens in a country that uses jails and ER's as their mental healthcare system. Sad for her and sad for the officer's involved, at some point it's got to be cheaper to be compassionate and deal responsibly with the mental health needs of our population rather than forcing cops to deal with it

Not sure where you think this is, but this happened in the USA. In fact it happened in the state capitol of the most liberal, pay the refuse to work poor more than actual workers make, with free mental health and medical to boot. Free mental health, your so wrong it's sickening.

it bothers me about the police shooting at her while she's on the ground but 99% she would have stood up to stab them.

I hope the officer will be okay. I would never want to be a police officer. Everyday you go to work you never know what kind of crazy shit will go down.

The only problem I see with this video is that they didn’t shoot her sooner. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
