The descending aorta splits off into the femoral arteries.

If theres a tear you can lose all the blood in your body in 5 minutes (which is about how long he lasted, maybe a bit longer due to shock constricting blood flow to only vital organs).

Three things happen, you lose pressure, you cant oxygenate tissues and body temperature drops.

You would need to clamp off both arteries and then give him a transfusion and ultimately antibiotics.

damn that was surreal and no one is helping him? if i was there i would have helped right away.. but the positive side is that he isnt feeling any pain in any way due to the shock the body turns off the pain "alarm".. happened to me when i got 69 stitches in my arm due to accidently crushed a window with my arm.. i didnt feel pain.. but this can never be compared to this..
