Construction Worker, Talking on Phone, Dies After Brick Falls on His Head
A construction worker died while talking on the phone and a stone fell on his head at a construction site in Istanbul when he was not wearing a safety helmet. The moments of the incident were reflected on the security camera. The incident happened around 11:00 last Friday. Talking on the phone, while sitting at the construction site without wearing a hard hat, A. E. Ö. (30) got hit by a stone. Ö, who collapsed, was taken to the hospital by ambulance but he could not be saved and lost his life. Investigation into the incident continues. |

I think if he had a hard hat on, a brick travelling that fast would have still shattered his neck  We install drop nets over here to catch those fucking rogue bricks  |

looked like the brick missed his head and mainly hit his neck/shoulder. broken neck i bet, with little actual head injury. a helmet may not have done much.  |
