People in my area are predominately Hispanic. They have a hard time understanding the rationale of a closed border. Their thought process regarding immigration is that these people are coming over to improve their lives, and that's okay. We even had a high school principal that was an illegal working for the school system (South Texas). He boasted to students about how he came over the border in a station wagon when he was young and obtained his education in the US. They don't call them illegal aliens here. They call them illegal immigrants. And, if you dare say anything about securing our borders they go ape shit and label you a racist. Go figure. I have nothing against any race provided they follow the process to become citizens instead of sneaking into the US. Scumbag illegals  |

Let's be realistic now. They're going 60mph+ at night. Makes me think of all those videos of cops getting smeared against cars during a traffic stop because some idiot doesn't know how to drive responsibly.

That's scary. Then again...look at Mexico.  It's all making sense now...I agree, but let me add something to that comment. "...provided they follow the process to become productive citizens who are an active part of their local community." There, that sounds better. I thought it was policy to always have back up on a stop & search, or do they do it differently in the US? Seems to be exposing the Cop to unnecessary risk! A definite OH&S issue there!
