Re: Computer Engineering Student Scott "Scout" Schultz Shot by Cop on Campus

I just don't get these scenarios. Why do they need to be even debated? Every prick and his gramma in the whole world knows what's gonna happen if you advance on US cops with any type of a weapon whilst shouting "shoot me". There's only one outcome. Mix mental illness, drugs or booze in for good measure too and it's 'Goodnight Vienna'!!

Good Night
Well lets put it this way..... if your son or daughter or brother, or best friend is having a rough moment, or bad night, and ends up in a situation like this young man, I suspect you would want the police to de-escalate the situation rather than permanently end a life. Hopefully police will eventually get trained to handle a wider range of scenarios rather than "me shoot bad guy" mentality.
Lots of people commit suicide that would have been fine the next day when they sobered up. Sure we dont give a fuck about someone we dont know, but you would if you did.

It's funny how sociopaths here project their own lack of humanity with eugenicist sentiments. Probably a considerable portion of this site's users are, or have been, suicidal and/or mentally ill.

Moral Of The Story: If you're gonna brandish like a man, don't scream like a little bitch when someone with a gun calls your bluff.

Rough nights and bad moments don't make lethal weapons any less lethal, you sheltered little bitch. You need to be beaten into a coma.

Congrats, you possess empathy. Don't take it for granted. Many are either incapable of that realization, or they are capable but simply have no concern for anyone in their family.

Re: Computer Engineering Student Scott "Scout" Schultz Shot by Cop on Campus

Can someone explain me this, why do cops in US shoot people in situations like this, when the suspect didnt had any gun and the shooting should be the last resort even if it takes hours of just keeping safe distance and persuasion ( No one should be in hurry when a student is involved,Unless the guy has a gun and is threatening to use a firearm ) , a person can actually be on drugs or just mentally sick or just saying shoot me out of some frustration . No matter how much I know its always the life of the police that's in threat but I cant seem to understand that the success for the police department lies on not neutralizing the threat but to restrain or persuade for a surrender and that takes more communication skills and that's more challenging and rewarding. After all you are trained in fighting and are already armed and could have shot at the leg and still not killing him.Everyone loses when a life is lost, a good chance that he would have been a fine man in future with the studies he was pursuing.

Re: Computer Engineering Student Scott "Scout" Schultz Shot by Cop on Campus

I'm usually on the side of if you approach with a weapon you get shot but damn that was unnecessary. He didnt seem like a real threat at all. I feel like I could have wrestled the knife away from him myself without getting cut.

Also shootout to the random russian dude who saw shit going down and was reminded of home so he began to film
I was not expecting to hear Russian here out of all videos. I've been conditioned to associate блять and пиздос with snowy car crash vids and the like watermarked with Плохие новости but not Yankee police being trigger happy.

Because our entire culture has a massive hard-on for guns. We have enough firearms for every man, woman, and child. Cops are paranoid as fuck of getting shot so they treat the local campus University like it’s fucking Mogadishu with their firearms ready to go off at any moment. Seriously, it’s not a race issue. It’s a gun issue. Too many fucking guns, civilians AND cops.

We also have non-existent mental health care so the police force and justice system is stuck babysitting the crazies, and we often get scenarios like this.

Nearly every other developed nation has this shit figured out but here in the US we would rather pass legislation on which bathrooms a tranny can and can’t use and give trillion dollar tax cuts to wealthy people.

It is what it is
