A man, whose hands were tied up, was killed and decapitated on Monday night (29).

The man was initially thrown out of a car, and he was filmed struggling on the road, with visible injuries. Minutes later, the criminals returned, ordered everyone to move away, and one of them cut off the victim’s head with a machete while another filmed the scene to share on social media.

During the recording, the perpetrators shouted they they belonged to the Comando Vermelho, or 'Red Command', gang.

The deceased was identified as Márcio G.B.d.S., 40. He had been arrested in 2023 on suspicion of theft at a construction site and previously had a record for drug trafficking.
