A 23-year-old man, Breiner J.P.V., was shot in the head at a shoe store at the Alejandria shopping centre. He had reportedly been working at the shoe store for a month, with employees describing him as a reserved man who struggled to adjust.

It is believed, however, that Breiner had been involved in the murder of 31-year-old Jhonatan A.M.G., nicknamed 'Guriguri', who had been fatally shot in the abdomen on Monday 11th. Police have not yet confirmed this connection, but it is likely that Breiner's death served as retaliation.

Breiner was taken to hospital in a taxi (although the taxi driver initially refused to transport him), but died hours later.
