Well, we have input from Mr. Happy and Mr. Sad. Wonder who is right. Although if "Upinthemountains" is correct, there probably would have been a good chance of survival. But I guess we'll never know now. |

90% probably aren't standing bare footed in a saltwater body of water though. That girl was instantly dead, CPR would have just made it feel like you're doing something rather than just standing there.

A woman of Venezuelan origin died this afternoon after being hit by a strong electric discharge from a lightning when she was on the shore of the beaches of Boquilla, jurisdiction of Cartagena. It was F. M. R. R, 34 years old, who was struck by the natural phenomenon when he tried to reach one of the tents he had rented with his family, to spend a day of sun, sea and beach. The woman was transferred alive to Serena del Mar Hospital, entered the emergency room taken by AMI ambulance, in cardiorespiratory stop she was given resuscitation unsuccessfully, and within a few minutes they certified her death. |
