Re: Colombia: Father Gunned Down While Taking Daughter Trick-or-Treating
For real! It looks like the other woman who came probably told her too. Seriously! That child had all the time in the world for that to be her last image of her father. I was 15 when my father passed. Even when I remember good times, my image in my mind is him in the casket. I do not attend funerals, also don't want my own. When you find this body dead, burn immediately. No tires tho. Still trying to figure that one out. |

Re: Colombia: Father Gunned Down While Taking Daughter Trick-or-Treating
I knew a guy in Worcester Massachusetts many years ago who ran a small martial arts business (just himself as the instructor). He was walking on the street with his 6 year old son and some creep with a knife (though it might have been a gun) came up to them and attempted to mug the dad. The father felt he could take the guy because of his martial arts knowledge and made a move, and got killed by the mugger, all witnessed by his 6 year old. One of the cops later tried to cheer the poor kid up by buying him a Happy Meal at McDonald's. No, this is not a joke though it does have a blackly comic (or at least ironic) element to it.
