A pair of brothers - J.R. and D.R. - were together along with J.'s wife, V.B., when an armed man stormed in and began shooting. All were taken to hospital - while V. remains in critical condition, both brothers were confirmed dead.

A 39-year-old police corporal, E.N., has been detained for questioning. E. had been acquitted by an internal tribunal earlier in 2022 for his involvement in an illegal drug plane landing.
