Re: Close Up Thermal Kills
I have a FLIR scope but it’s crazy inaccurate as images are layered from at least 2 camera sensors and projected from digital LCD screen. The thermal image does not align with actual image and i don’t think it can be corrected. Just a heads up for people looking to buy them. You are much better off with NODs and IR laser. If you can walk without tripping over your own feet.

Re: Close Up Thermal Kills
Sounds like a warranty issue, FLIR is known for high quality. I personally own a Trijicon REAP-IR a NOX-18 and a HALO-XRF. They have such high quality images you can actually, "identify" people, not just, "detect". I actually tell people to go Thermal vs NOD's (if the budget doesn't allow both) as Thermal is much harder to deploy countermeasures against and works 24-7. |
