I know this may seem cruel to some, but I believe the idiots who cross without looking deserve whatever the fuck is coming to them.

You can't get stupider than that—she did it to herself.

Now on the side of reason, I do believe that high-speed trains ought not to be allowed close to populated areas. (Not that slower trains would not have led to the same outcome, mind you.)

In fact, no trains should be allowed near populated areas—period.

Ride by hot air balloons, motherfuckers, then air-drop to the next-door train station in the mountainside.

(I meant to say she didn't look as she crossed—to properly judge train speed and distance.

She did give it a cursory glance initially—but only about as half-assed as her pitiable, failed attempt at getting out of the way of the perilously incoming train.)
