Circus Tiger Kills His Trainer Alexander Crispin During Performance
Tiger trainer Alexander Crispin was killed during a performance in the state of Sonora in northwest Mexico, after he was attacked by a tiger.

The tragedy occurred late Saturday when the circus gave performances in the town Etchohoa and Crispin was on the scene along with 2 tigers.

At one point, one of the animals went out of control and struck the trainer.

Within minutes, the tiger trainer, still alive, and the efforts of colleagues in the company tried to ward off the blows of the predator but were not successful.

Crispin was taken to hospital, where he died during medical treatment.

What happened to the tiger is not reported.
Crispin, according to local media reports, was a native of the United States. In Mexico, he worked in the circus troupe Suarez.
