I'm too paranoid to ever cross the road without checking several times. But I would not run either way. Last time I ran I fell, so I dont have very high hopes for that.

Watch the video again. In slow motion if you have trouble processing what's happening. She was not in the middle of the street. She was already in the path of the oncoming traffic when she started to run. She was nearly to the curb when she was hit. Hit because dickface, in his or her panic, swerved right to "avoid" her. If the person just keeps driving straight, even at that ridiculous speed, this doesn't happen. |
