Cherry Picker Overturns Whilst Being Unloaded, Throwing Man Onto the Pavement
Overport, Durban, South Africa A man lost his life in a workplace accident involving a cherry picker crane outside a shopping mall. According to emergency responders, the cherry picker overturned during the process of being unloaded from a transport vehicle. The driver, estimated to be in his thirties, was thrown from the equipment and suffered critical injuries. Paramedics arrived quickly, but after assessment, they pronounced him dead at the scene due to the severity of his wounds. Initial reports describe the event as an unexpected mishap, with no signs of external interference. The precise cause remains undetermined pending further examination. |

Well, I'm just pointing out it wasn't very high off the ground. If landing "just right" was hurried along by physics, that's certainly a plausible explanation.

he wasn't thrown to the ground any faster than gravity could pull him, if you watch the video and focus on him rather than the machine. not the way i see it, anyway.  |
