Chechen War Files [Abridged]
I decided to go through some of my Chechen files and cut it down to the good bits. It was going to be [much] longer, but either my external drive is on the fritz or my video editing software is shitting out on me. It's got a few minutes of classic Ogrish Chechen footage in there as well. The one at 7:30 does indeed have really shit video quality, but I personally found it interesting [and it isn't that long if you just want to skip it]- according to the original Ogrish post it was a Chechen teaching people how to properly cut throats. Cheers! |

Re: Chechen War Files [Abridged]
??? I agree with the idiocy of war comment, but... Not sure what war has to do with evolution. The fact that we haven't fully evolved in to a species that refuses to kill it's own kind doesn't mean we aren't the product of evolution. We are. Unless you are talking about the evolution of our civilization as a whole, rather than our genes.

Re: Chechen War Files [Abridged]
Either way, I am on the chechens side here, the monstrocity of this wars, on either sides, has is outspring in the russians invasions....it goes back during the WWII and even before that etc , you can maintain the problem with dictatorship, but soon as its gone , anarchy knocks on the door, just look at the Balkan in -92. |

Re: Chechen War Files [Abridged]
If you are interested in Chechnya or Russian war tactics, I'd highly recommend reading "A Dirty War" or "Small Corner of Hell" both written by Anna Politkovskaya (Russian journalist reporting in Chechnya who was assassinated for making public information on numerous human rights abuses by Russian forces). They are decent books and give a shocking insight of what it was like on the ground in this hell hole |
