A Charred Body Was Found on the Side of the BR-235 Highway in Laranjeiras.
A charred and bound body was discovered on the morning of Thursday, the 26th, on the side of the BR-235 road in the municipality of Laranjeiras. This information was confirmed by the Sergipe State Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SE). According to the department, a team from the Sergipe Military Police was dispatched to the location after receiving a request from the Integrated Public Security Operations Center to investigate an incident in the village of Boti, near a farm. Upon arrival, police discovered the body on the road leading to the rural property. Due to the condition of the victim when found, initial identification was not possible. A forensic team from the Institute of Forensic Medicine and forensic experts were called in to analyze the scene and recover the body.
