Statistically speaking - you are more likely to die should you impact concrete/asphalt or other hard surface. Should you land in grass or a place where other fauna exists, if you time it correctly and grab something at the moment of impact, you may still live. It's not the initial impact that kills these people, it's the fucking bounce. |

Wow is that guy for real? I mean is he just ignoring it and carrying on about his business or is he actually going to call the emergency services? Ironic that she was 13 and jumped from the 13th floor as well.

I work security at a Strip casino/resort. Couple years ago we had a jumper landed in middle of access road in front of outdoor employees break/smoking area. About a 10 story fall, and watching surveillance tapes he actually bounced a little higher and did a encore second bounce. Spectacular, plus I got the duty of guarding the body until coroner said 'bag him!'.
