It wasn't life threatening until everyone there decided NOT to put a little pressure on the leak. Totally preventable. People have lost limbs and survived just by tourniquet or pressure. She didn't live because she thought it better to cradle the wound and watch all her life juice spray out.  |

Watch the very start of the vid in slow mo, frame by frame. It appears that the girl in the black pants (the one who ultimately died) is the one who initially had the knife. It looks like the red haired girl was able to grab the knife and disarms the other girl by twisting it with force. Then right at the end it looks like the knife inadvertantly slashes her forarm when the knife is being twisted away.
