Much worse things have happened to people than this. Just go to a torture chamber museum and see for yourself. I've been but never really got a firm grasp on the reality of what I was seeing until i watched this video. Compared to many of the deaths throughout history this death was swift.

At least when you're arms are cut off you only feel pain at the shoulder. When you're skin/muscle is flayed you're gonna feel it all over(or wherever they skin you).
