Cartel Member Shot While Playing on Arcade Slot Machines Outside
Colombia. Around 7:30 PM, José L.J.L, 34 was distracted while playing on an arcade slot machine outside a local establishment when a helmeted hitman approached from behind and fired multiple shots, striking him several times in the head and back. After the shooting, the hitman fled on foot towards a neighboring sector. National Police officers and community members rushed the victim to the Hospital, where medical staff confirmed his death shortly after arrival due to severe head trauma. The victim was a local drug distributor. Police records indicate he operated within the criminal outsourcing network of the Cordillera cartel. He had prior judicial records for drug trafficking and had already survived two separate assassination attempts in 2025. Police told that the primary hypothesis points to a territorial dispute over local drug distribution. Authorities suspect the perpetrators belong to a local criminal network that also carries out armed robberies on motorcycles across the city. |
