On the other hand the guy in video just wants to look mean/badass for the camera to instill fear in their foes but it is only a façade, but the day when his turn comes he will be begging like a little lady, all bravado and badassery gone the way of the Dodo.

I was stabbed multiple times about 20 years ago by my boyfriend at the time. Just below the collar bone, several times about a 3 inch area, nothing vital was damaged. I definitely felt each stab, but right afterwards it was all fairly numb until later. However, I FELT this guy's big long cut in my soul, I am sure he felt the initial gash but maybe not the cutting of his insides, I've read that the smooth muscle of our insides don't have the same kind of nerves as our skin and striated muscles just beneath. I could be wrong though. :)

The reason you dont feel much is because of the adrenaline surge but guaranteed that guy felt every last bit of steel scraping bone, tearing skin up until that adrenaline surge spiked. He looks fairly incoherent after the first cutt is made.

Davey is right, it's instant addrenaline in you, it really doesn't feel as painy as it looks after that. It's amazing. I've been there too...
