  You NEVER aim your gun at a person unless you "INTEND" to shoot. You hold your weapon down at your side or aim at a target... not your fucking instructor...If that was me I would have drawn my gun and would have fired right at that dumbasses knee cap if he aimed at me I would have 1/10 of a second to do so... Obviously this kid knew nothing about gun safety but I was taught, if you draw your gun and turn around pointing your gun at anyone even accidental , you WILL risk being shot for that they either trust you with their life or they will draw and fire immediately ! That instructor should have never had his eyes off the kid... :face palm1.All guns are always loaded. 2.Never point a gun at anything you are unwilling to destroy. 3.Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire. 4.Know your target. 5.Keep your gun at the minimum level of readiness. |

That's actually a good point...as a firearms instructor the 1st rule is weapons are always pointed downrange. It's a common mistake for new shooters to turn around with the gun in their hand sweeping others with the muzzle and all of the instructors I know will jump your ass if you do that.

The video where the little girl shot the instructor....the instructor was an idiot. Never, ever give a kid a full auto weapon. And, why wasn't he standing behind the girl instead of off to the side?  |
