Car Wash Worker Killed After Driver Crashes Into Him Whilst Going Up Ramp
Pedernales, Ecuador A 34-year-old car wash employee, Junior F.A.S., died after being struck by a pickup truck while working. Junior was assisting the driver of a vehicle to prevent the car from rolling down a ramp. Suddenly, the driver of the pickup lost control, for reasons that have not yet been determined, and the pickup violently struck the worker, who was left seriously injured at the scene. Co-workers and people present at the car wash acted quickly to assist Junior, but he arrived at hospital without vital signs. As of now, authorities have not reported whether the driver involved was detained, nor have they released details about alcohol tests or additional procedures in the case. |

Some would reverse before turning on the windshield wipers, some might move out of the way when you see a vehicle coming straight towards you. I suppose lessons were learned all around, so that's nice and uplifting.

YTF is the ramp made like that? This place also washes the underside of your car, or enables oil changes, at the same time? No rails or fences, nothing to stop a hungry car from just goin' for it, and he stood there and begged for it. Too bad the impact is just off-screen, looks like a nice aggressive bounce-popper with an 'and one for jesus' final rev-up squirt for good measure.  |

Not sure about that particular car wash, but I know that some car washes do undercarriage washes to remove the salt that gets stuck in there when the roads are salted in the weentertime.
