Car Crashes Into a Wall, Killing Two Young Women
Two university students died and two young people were injured after an accident on the North South Highway in Serra, Espírito Santo state, Brazil, in the early hours of Sunday morning (7). The friends, Luma A.d.S., 19, and Natiele L.d.S., 20, were in the vehicle with three other young people. The group was driving towards Laranjeiras when the vehicle lost control and crashed at around 2.30am. According to the police report, the driver told police that he was returning from a bar in Vitória when he lost control of the car. He said he tried to slow down on the road and the car swerved onto the sidewalk, crashing into the wall. The police report noted that the driver, 24-year-old Daniel Ramos Guedes, refused to take a breathalyzer test, but his breath smelled of alcohol. He was arrested for his refusal and for having a bald tyre on his vehicle. |

I like the way they do it here in the U.S. It doesn’t matter if you refuse an alcohol test, if there’s a fatality they hold you down and take your blood forcibly. None of that weasling out with ‘waaah, i don’t consent, it’s my bodily autonomy’… Like seriously STFU dude somebody’s DEAD.
