I would appreciate the quick death that allows me to hold some of my dignity and get something of a soldier's death. Firing squad is a pretty noble execution as far as executions go. that is why it is called a soldier's death.

No dignity for a soldier/policeman to die like slaughtered cattle. Dying with dignity is putting a gun in their hands and letting them being able to defend themselves.

It's a cowardly way to kill someone - can't even look them in the eyes while they do it.
