They clearly had his mouth gagged a bit. Cause you can hear him moaning in agony SEVERAL times through the cutting of the first hand, and through the gag whimpering after the hand is removed.  |

I've seen a few, guy having fingers cut off, guy getting feet chopped off, they didn't seem to notice! Wtf, do they get the luxury of morphine before it starts?  |

No, most nerves are located towards the surface of the skin. The deeper you go the less pain receptors there are. The body also provides a lot of really good pain blocking agents for severe wounds. It takes a while for the pain to override that system.

They keep repeating it's what will happen to whoever is involved in kidnappings. They say they want peaceful towns. The guy being beheaded was on their "list" as a conspirator to kidnappings and having a "big mouth"
