some pools have a gentle and a steeper slope at some point you might touch the surface, but your toes slip away due to the smoothness |

I can’t believe how many people in these comments don’t understand that pools have deep ends. I guess that knowledge isn’t as mainstream as I thought and definitely contributed to her death. Also, if you watch this and think what she’s doing at the beginning is “swimming”, please get swimming lessons before you end up on DR too.

It was in inground pool. You don’t notice the large grassy area with lounge chairs around it? Every inground pool I've ever seen has a 3.5 ft side that gradually deepens to 6ft. I assumed this was common knowledge. Only exception being vacation resorts & water parks.
