Read the rest of the thread. The woman who was arrested was attacked by the woman who died. She died because she fell on a glass bottle that she had previously thrown at the woman who was arrested. That's why the charges were downgraded. Personally I hope she isn't prosecuted for manslaughter at all. Yes a woman died, but there is an argument for self defence. As demonstrated here, a glass bottle can be a deadly weapon and she was attacked with one. Kinda funny that the woman who threw the bottle ended up getting rekt by it. |

To the people saying she should be in jail, imagine this: A white woman tries to start a fight with a woman of color, throwing glass at the her. The woman of color defends herself, and the white woman falls onto the glass that the white woman threw, killing the white woman Do you think the woman of color should be in jail, or should be regarded as a hero that stood up against white supremacy? I personally think that the woman should not be in jail, but they need to research what led to the altercation |
