Re: Californian Biker Dies After He Rear-ends a Dodge Avenger Making a U-turn
Yeah, that's dumb but what's dumber? The guy who rides his ten speed bike on the same road or the moron who drives into him because he thinks like you. They all have the same right to road. It's your arrogant self-entitled attitude towards others on the road that kills them. Follow the laws and drive safe, but that's to hard for moron drivers. |

Motorcyclist was speeding, going probably 20 mph faster than the other cars. The U-turn car was judging his turning time by the speed of the cars. Motorcyclists!! You are not glamorous because you go fast. Your life is not a video game.

Re: Californian Biker Dies After He Rear-ends a Dodge Avenger Making a U-turn
I rode motorcycles for many years. In fact, my wife bought me an R1 for my wedding gift, although she always used to harp on me for not wearing a helmet every single ride. That was a personal choice and I agree with all the statements regarding safety and lack of protection. Anybody that rides on a motorcycle knows they are inherently dangerous and agree to the risk they are taking while riding. My argument to my wife was "Why would I want to remember how I became a paraplegic?" Rarely do motorcycle wrecks have a positive outcome.
