California - Two Robbers Killed Whilst Trying to Burgle Gold Pawn Shop

A shootout at a gold pawn shop in Oakland resulted in two robbers being killed.

According to the owner, a gang of five robbers had entered the shop, and he initially presumed they were customers. The owner unlocked the door, only to be overwhelmed by the suspects.

The owner got out a gun, and engaged in a shootout with the robbers. By the end of it, two of the robbers - 30-year-old Devinelle Broussard and 25-year-old Dennis Oyewole - were dead. It is not clear if they were shot by the owner, or by their fellow robbers.

Seven guns were recovered from the scene, four of which belonged to the owner, who is not facing charges. The three surviving robbers - 26-year-old Deshawn Tyson, 28-year-old Charles Gaston (both pictured), and a 16-year-old - have been booked on charges of attempted robbery, and murder under the "provocative acts" doctrine (as they were responsible for starting a situation that resulted in two deaths).

Sadly some of them survived. Those 2 got pretty lucky overall.

I think the robbers would have been more successful if they had all committed to the act rather than 3 of them being so hesitant while the other two struggled with the shop worker and owner.

Fortunately, the robbers acted like headless chickens and had some mini-clusterfuck orgy in the corner of the partition wall.

I'm still trying to figure out what happened with that rifle one of the guys pulled out in the middle of the video. Maybe it jammed?
