Businessman P.H.L.V, was shot three times in the head yesterday, and was sworn to death by the Comando Vermelho, according to initial investigations by police.

“The victim had been sworn to death for some time, since he did not comply with the impositions of the criminal faction”.

The victim, who was 28 years old, would also be an alleged member of the faction and has several lawsuits in his disfavor, according to the Justice system.

The victim owns a sport fishing store and, at the time, the gunman arrived at the establishment posing as a customer.

The man asked for a 3kg bag of ice cubes. When turning to get the product, the criminal took out his gun and fired six shots, three of which hit the head region and three in the body.

The police chief's team managed to arrest the shooter, who is also a member of the criminal faction, in the act.

After collecting descriptions from witnesses of the shooter and the car used in the escape, the police managed to locate him hiding in a house in the municipality.

He even tried to escape, running to the back of the residence and jumping over the wall of some houses. However, he was captured on the other side of the street.

Initial investigations indicate that the suspect is a member of a criminal faction and had been in town for just six days. He would have come only to act in the execution of the victim.

During the investigations, another member of the faction involved in the crime was also identified, who would have supported the executioner, providing a house, clothes, food and a car, on the days he was in the city.

This second suspect fled the city, but was arrested , after an exchange of information between the Civil Police team with the Military Police and Federal Highway Police, at a bus station. He was arrested along with a woman.

The suspect arrested was booked for murder, drug trafficking and criminal association. And the second member of the group, arrested, was charged with murder and criminal association. The Civil Police works to complete the investigation of the case.
