Businessman Executed at Gas Station
In the early evening of Thursday (25), a businessman owner of an internet provider, was shot dead in Turiaçu, 243 km from São Luís. The crime took place at a gas station owned by the businessman, in the center of the city. He was surprised by two men who were on a motorcycle. One of them got down and fired several shots at him. The businessman was rescued by people, but he could not resist his injuries and died. According to initial information, the businessman had already suffered an attempted murder two years ago, when he had a car he owned hit by bullets. There is still no information on the motivation of the crime, which has characteristics of settling accounts. The footage from the gas station's security cameras will be used by the police to try to identify the perpetrators of the crime.  |

In such cases, when the victim is described as a businessman without any specifics (such as which business, or what his role in the business is) then you can assume with confidence that his business is organized crime for which he has constructed a front to make his business appear legitimate.

He owned an internet service provider according to news reports. He also owned the gas station. But who knows....

Then he’s definitely not a criminal if he owned a gas station and an Internet cafe. Those are respectable businesses usually owned by respectable people.
