Police was already there, the man who rushed to the bus driver was a cop. And yes, it seems the protester would have linched the driver otherwise  The bus ran over a group of protesters and left one dead, three injured on a highway near the capital of Venezuela: they were flood victims protesting the conditions of the shelters they were given about a month before, after the flood that struck the area: the the driver failed to stop and was put under custody by police officers that were in place because the protesters "tried to retaliate" against him, arguing that he did hit the four victims deliberately. "A very little help was given to us. Did this had happen for us to catch some attention?", told to Union Radio Lilian Minset, one of the homeless. According to reports, one of the victims later died in a local hospital, where three more injured were hospitalized. in Latin America, when people walk out in the road to stop you, YOU BEST NOT stop...i don't blame the bus driver, how the fuck would he know it was something as minor as a protest?
