Bus Robber Gets Shot Dead by Passenger Who Turned Out to Be a Policeman
A man died after a military police officer from Sergipe reacted and thwarted a robbery inside a bus this Thursday morning, 15. According to the Military Police, the occurrence was recorded on the BR-101, near the Loreto village, in Rio Real (BA) ), which borders the municipality of Cristinápolis in Sergipe, Brazil. The suspect, who was hooded and with a firearm in his hand, forced the driver to stop the vehicle. The man entered the bus with the revolver, and upon realizing the situation, the military police would have reacted, pulling out the gun he was carrying and firing two shots. The assailant could not resist the injuries and evolved to death. The police officer and passengers were not injured. The Military Police of Sergipe, through the 11th Battalion, went to the scene of the fact after becoming aware of what happened. According to the above, the place is already known for repeated thefts of vehicles, mainly trucks and buses. |
