Bus Ran Over Head of Female Pedestrian
Brazil. A woman, identified as E.F.d.Nascimento, 52 years old, died after being run over by a bus on Thursday night in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador. The accident happened in front of a gas station. The bus was transporting employees to a company in the region when it struck the victim. The impact was violent and the woman died at the scene before help arrived. Witnesses reported that accidents involving pedestrians are frequent on that stretch of highway and are demanding measures to increase the safety of those who need to cross the road daily. A team from the Department of Technical Police will be responsible for the forensic examination and removal of the body. The circumstances of the accident will be investigated by the competent authorities. |
