Re: Burn Rubber Amigo!
Ha! I have seen them play it live a hand full of times though. I even remember one or two of those times. Within reason of course, and not without anomalies--unless a thousand people actually did transform into a giant patterned Persian rug being bounced around from underneath by spring loaded laughter bulbs. But this is unlikely. |

Re: Burn Rubber Amigo!
I knew there was a reason why I loved you...one of my most favourite albums as well. I originally went halves on that album with my friend. We kept seeing it in the record store and bought it together for the tits on the cover...figuring if we each only paid ten bucks it was worth the loss.......that night I paid him outright so he could get another copy of the album cause we fell in love with it . One of the best bands ever....and I got to see them live! |

Re: Burn Rubber Amigo!
Yeah, I don't think I've met anyone else who did that--the album cost splitting thing. My friend and I took that shit to the next level though. We found a fish tank on the road once, so we walked it to the pet store and went halvers on the cheapest biggest fish in there--a Loach. We were gonna alternate keeping it at our places weekly, like a joint custody thing. It didn't matter though, the first decoration for its tank was the popped off Dracula head from a gyrating Halloween decoration. It had this long hair that we both agreed the fish would find humorous. But that actually, all came out after the water softened the glue that also probably shouldn't have been in there with it. It perished that very first evening--the cause of death was inhalation of long Dracula hairs. |
