Never can understand why the lesser intelligent humans feel the need to torment animals. There are many people on the planet the cherish nature and treat all intelligent animals with equal respect. It's like the big dumb oaf in high school that picks on smaller kids because he isn't happy with himself and gets gratification by spreading his internal pain on to others.
